Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's most outstanding athletes. The 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games as well as the first gymnast to earn three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles was raised in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. She and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone became interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl in a day-care field excursion in Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for 11 years, under supervision of trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles was awarded a silver medal in vault in 2010 and a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to competitions at the elite level in the year 2011. Less than two years later she was the most dominant athlete in the field. What stood Biles apart was her consistency her fun-loving personality, and the extreme level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines in every event - vault, uneven bars balance beam and floor exercises.
